Made For: Naya & Jordi – Marquise Engagement Ring & Citrine Starburst Signet Ring

Some stories begin long before the proposal.
When Jordi first reached out to us in October 2024, he wasn't looking for a ring he could take home a few weeks later. The proposal was still nearly a year and a half away, giving us something many bespoke journeys don't always have: time. Time to explore ideas, refine details, and think carefully about how every part of the experience could feel deeply personal.
Looking back, that's what stands out most to us. Not the length of the journey itself, but the intention behind it. From our very first conversations, it was clear that Jordi wasn't simply choosing a ring—he was creating something that would reflect Naya in every possible way.
Every Decision Was Made with Naya in Mind

Throughout the process, every conversation circled back to the same person.
Whether we were discussing the engagement ring or the smallest finishing details, Jordi always approached each decision with one question in mind: Would this feel like Naya? It was never about following trends or choosing the most elaborate design. Instead, he focused on creating something that felt familiar, meaningful, and unmistakably hers.
As private jewelers, these are the journeys we enjoy most. The ring gradually becomes more than a beautiful object—it becomes a reflection of someone's personality, built one thoughtful decision at a time.
A Ring Box That Told Its Own Story

One of our favourite moments came when the conversation shifted beyond the ring itself.
Rather than presenting the engagement ring in a traditional box, Jordi wanted the experience to begin even before Naya saw the diamond. Together, we created a custom ring box inspired by Pakiyo, her beloved cat. It's a detail that might seem small to anyone else, but it immediately made perfect sense because it belonged to their story.
We often say that bespoke jewellery isn't only about the final piece. Sometimes it's the details surrounding it that become just as memorable.
A Proposal Built Around Thoughtfulness

By the time the proposal arrived, every detail had found its place.
The engagement ring, the custom Pakiyo-inspired ring box, and the many thoughtful touches Jordi had planned all came together naturally, creating a proposal that felt deeply personal rather than elaborate for the sake of it. Seeing everything unfold reminded us that the most memorable proposals aren't defined by grand gestures alone, but by how well they reflect the people at the centre of them.
Being invited into moments like these is one of the greatest privileges of what we do. Long after the rings leave our studio, knowing they've become part of memories like this is something we'll always treasure.
Rings Designed for Their Story

For Naya, Jordi chose a marquise solitaire featuring a 0.8ct GIA-certified natural diamond, paired with a curved pavé wedding band in 18K yellow gold. Elegant yet understated, the two rings were designed to sit beautifully together while allowing the marquise diamond to remain the focal point.

His own ring tells a story just as personal. Jordi chose a rounded signet ring featuring a Citrine Starburst, inspired by what he lovingly calls his eternal sunshine, Naya. It's a quiet detail that many people would never notice at first glance, yet that's exactly what makes it so meaningful. Some stories aren't meant to be immediately seen—they're meant to be carried every day by the people who know their significance.
Made for Their Story

When we think back on Jordi and Naya's journey, we don't remember a single proposal or a single ring. We remember months of thoughtful conversations, ideas that slowly took shape, and countless decisions made with care. Every step reflected the same intention: to create something that would feel completely personal, not only in how it looked, but in what it represented.
Perhaps that's what we love most about bespoke jewellery. The finished piece is only part of the story. The time, thought, and love poured into creating it become part of the piece itself, carried long after the proposal has passed.
